Warwick basses have always been a leader in the electric bass market, and it shows more than ever with their most recent lineup. Not too long ago, several of there new “Corvette” models arrived at our showroom, sporting all of the classic Warwick style they’ve always been known for.
Here it is, Warwick fans: the Limited Edition Streamer LX 2011. It’s got a plain Blackwood top with a Maple body, finished in oil, bolt-on Blackwood neck with Maple fingerboard, Seymour Duncan SB-4 pickups, and Seymour Duncan 3-Way electronics. Warwick is shooting for a street price of $3,499 and we’ll have them available at The Zoo.
Hot off the press at Warwick was this interesting new body shape: the Star Bass Singlecut, seen here in a Flamed Maple 4-String. The laminated Maple body is joined to a Maple neck using set-neck construction, topped with a Wenge fingerboard. The passive MEC humbucker pickups and electronics look the business, we look forward to seeing what they can do.
